Cookie Dough order forms/money are due tomorrow (Tuesday, November 25th). Students can apply 40% of their total sales to the Carson City or Southern NV field trips, so please be sure to send the packets to school with your student tomorrow. Product delivery will be on December 9th.
Remember to turn in Carson City deposits as soon as possible. Currently, we have received enough intent forms to fill two buses. This means we need 84 paid people by Wednesday, November 26th. If we do not have enough deposits to ensure we can cover the cost of two buses by the 26th, we will be forced to only accept the first 53 paid people (enough to fill one bus), so please turn in your deposits ASAP.
The 4th grade team has started scheduling parent-teacher conferences; please look for a blue confirmation sheet that will be coming home with your student this week. If you are unavailable during the scheduled time, please email one of us so we can reschedule (rescheduled conferences may have to be the week of December 15th or after winter break).
Students will have the chance to retake the Place Value: Power of Ten quiz this Wednesday during their homeroom time - we have been reviewing the concepts in class to ensure and promote mastery; students that earned less than a 70% the first time will be required to retest, students that earned a 70% or higher have the option to retest.
Students will also take a rounding quiz during math on Wednesday. Please have your child show you how to round different numbers in the manner they have been practicing in class.
